Here at the AIC, we will put out our brand new bird feeders, donated by Northern New York Audubon. You can watch the birds closely, take pictures, and listen to the songs and chatter from the warmth of our lobby through our speaker system!

Web registration opens for North Country Jr. Iron Chef,a competition for teams of regional middle and high school students to develop and execute healthy recipes using local & commodity ingredients that could be prepared in a school cafeteria.

Friends of Ogdensburg Public Library Corp. will hold its Fall Book Sale Nov. 1-3, with Bag Sale on Nov. 10th. Friends is also holding a Silent Auction, featuring holiday gifts, original works of art and treats donated by local merchants and individuals.

Doors will open at 5 PM Thursday, Nov. 1. Current Friends members will receive half-off from 6-8 PM Thursday. Silent Auction items will be available for bidding the week of the sale, with winners contacted after 2 PM on Saturday, Nov. 3rd.

WIC provides nurtition education and supplemental food vouchers for pregnant, postpartum or breastfeeding women, infants and children up to age five.

Stop in to CMOST on these special mornings for a time at The Museum that is just for CMOST members only. Explore the exhibits, visit your favorite animal friends and make a craft during this special time. Free with CMOST membership.

The preschool Story Hour Program at the Saranc Lake Free Library is offered today and each Thursday through November 15th at 10:30 a.m. in the Children's Room. Call 891-4190 for more information.

Peter Benson, Director of the Saranac Lake Free Library, will present “The Role of the Librarian in the Future; What I will do to Meet those Needs,” The Program is free and open to the public.

The clinic takes place at the County Public Health Department office, and provides immunizations needed to travel abroad. Open to ALL St. Lawrence County residents, but appointments MUST be made. A parent or legal guardian must accompany children.

This is a close up, personal and global look at human trafficking by award- winning filmmaker Kat Rohrer. A Question & Answer session with the filmmaker follows the screening. LOCATION: KELLAS HALL 105. FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Saranac Village at Will Rogers will hold a Pinochle Party each Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Lower Lounge. Interested players of any level are invited to come. Prizes will be awarded and refreshments served. $1 suggested donation.
