Application for UpNorth Music Recording Date

If you're a musician interested in participating in NCPR's UpNorth Music project, please fill out and submit the following form. We will select one act per month to bring into the NCPR studio for ten hours of recording time and up to ten hours mixing time. Acts may use the resulting recordings in any way they choose. NCPR asserts no ownership rights to any of the musical content. The first monthly session will be in July 2008.

Note: While we review applications in the order in which we receive them, selection for the project is based on musical merit. Links to websites with sound clips of your music are extremely helpful. Sending us a demo tape or CD is also fine. Please mail demo material to Joel Hurd, North Country Public Radio, St. Lawrence University, Canton, NY 13617. We aren't worried about the sound quality, just want to get an idea of how your music sounds. Professional references are also helpful.
