May 01, 2013 — Nova Bus in Plattsburgh has won another big contract to assemble 300 new vehicles for Chicago's Transit Authority. That's according to an announcement yesterday from Congressman Bill Owens.

Malone, NY, Apr 01, 2013 — The owner of several Mountain Mart gas stations in the North Country has agreed to pay $46,000 to settle environmental violations. The Environmental Protection Agency found improper record keeping and testing of the company's underground gas tanks. Go to full article

Nov 07, 2012 — Republican Janet Duprey swept the 115th Assembly race last night, beating back Conservative challenger Karen Bisso and Democrat Tim Carpenter. She won 52 percent of the vote.
The incumbent Republican will return to Albany next year, representing Clinton, Franklin, and part of St. Lawrence counties. While last night's victory was decisive, the campaign wasn't easy. Go to full article
