Thousands of spectators attended the 2002 New York State Snow Sculpting Competition in St. Regis Falls this weekend. Nine teams of sculptors from across the North Country began working on 8-ton blocks of icey snow Thursday afternoon, and finished up early Sunday afternoon. North Country Public Radio's team was there and carved the station's logo out of snow for the first time.
