May 22, 2013 — The sergeant has been accused of secretly videotaping at least a dozen female cadets, sometimes when they were showering. The New York Times report follows a series of accounts in recent weeks about alleged sexual assaults within the military.

Fort Drum chapel rededicated after $7M renovation

Ft. Drum unlikely to house undocumented children

Senator Charles Schumer says the chances are slim that undocumented children caught trying to cross the US-Mexican border illegally will be housed at Fort Drum.

The Army base is reportedly being considered to house hundreds of Central American children under a government program as soon as August.  Go to full article

Fort Drum soldier dies in Afghanistan

A 10th Mountain Division Soldier died Monday in Logar province, Afghanistan, from a non-combat related incident.

According to a press release from Fort Drum's public affairs office, 34-year-old specialist Specialist Terry J. Hurne, of Merced, California, was a utilities equipment repairer. He was with the 3rd Brigade Combat Team.  Go to full article
