A National Guardsman's Gender Battle During War

Nov 25, 2012 (Weekend Edition Sunday) — Host Rachel Martin speaks with McKenna Barlow, Martin's cousin by marriage, and a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, for StoryCorps' National Day of Listening. Barlow served in Iraq from 2003 to 2004, and recalls the difficulties of being one of the few women in her unit.
