Automotive Recall 101

Feb 4, 2010 (Tell Me More) — At a congressional hearing Wednesday, Transportation Scty. Ray LaHood advised consumers to "stop driving" their Toyotas, which he later recanted. But, for some, finding alternative transportation is easier said than done. Veteran automotive columnist Warren Brown offers a basic overview of auto recalls and whether the messages effectively reach those who need it most.
