NY Assembly Candidate Debates 2002
Opening Remarks: What will you do to raise the minimum wage? What will you do
to bring good jobs to the North Country? New York State government seems to be run by "three men
in a room", the Governor, the Speaker of the Assembly, and
the majority leader in the Senate. Other than constituent services,
how can you make a difference in Albany? What is your educational background? One candidate has said
Albany has ignored the North Country for some time. How do you feel
about that statement? -alb.rm What are your feelings about a "rooftop highway" and
how do you propose paying for it? Where do you see the family farm in five years? What issues
do you think could save the family farm? Do you think the government
is putting the family farm out of business? Would you support reform or repeal of New York's Rockefeller
drug laws? Closing remarks: |
