Report: Hoffman won't ask for recount
News 10 Now is reporting Conservative Doug Hoffman will not challenge the results of the 23rd district's special election, essentially closing the books on the race that gave the North Country a place in the national spotlight and gave Democrat Bill Owens a seat in Congress.
Hoffman spokesman Rob Ryan did leave a bit of wiggle room, though, saying "never say never and wait for a full statement coming later this week."
Last week, Hoffman accused ACORN, unions, and Democrats of vote tampering, but the campaign has yet to offer evidence.
More on this story as it develops.

Not sure how, having made those accusations, HOffman can, in good conscience, not challenge the results of the election.
Once again, Douglas Hoffman (D.H.) demonstrates graciousness and political acumen in quickly accepting his narrow defeat.
He also displays statesmanship of the highest order, in having a sound strategy in place for victory in 2010.
For starters, Ann Coulter will be appearing for D.H. at a fundraiser at The Milquetoast Inn in Wanakena on Xmas day.
See ya' all there.
Jon Voight is working bouncer duty that night.
Sinc.,

PS: It is rumored that Shirleymay Dophwell and Sarah P. will be there also!!!
