Palin endorses Hoffman

(Hat tip to a commenter Anonymous)

Sarah Palin has endorsed Conservative Doug Hoffman, bucking the desires of the National GOP.

Here's her statement from her Facebook page.
"Republicans and conservatives around the country are sending an important message to the Republican establishment in their outstanding grassroots support for Doug Hoffman: no more politics as usual."
And here's the treatment in the Washington Post.
Palin is the most high profile national Republican to endorse Hoffman over state Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava in the upcoming Nov. 3 special election for the seat vacated by Secretary of the Army John McHugh in a race that has rapidly developed into a battle for control of the direction of the national party.

What a hoot! I am not sure this endorsement will help DH a lot. Of course, who knows, 34%^ of the vote could win this election.

I would have to assume that anyone who would be impressed by an endorsement from Palin was already planning to vote for Hoffman. Within his base of support it certainly can't hurt but it's hard to envision it bringing many fence-sitters into the Hoffman camp

I can't imagine an endorsement from Sarah Palin is much of an endorsement. She may be the darling of the extreme right but I'll bet most Republicans cringe every time she opens her mouth. Hoffman is certainly cementing his image as an right wing conservative with appearances with Glen Beck and now endorsed by Sarah Palin.

Maybe Dick Cheney could throw in his endorsement as well.

Sarah Palin remains on the cutting edge of American politics. She represents the pulse of the conservatives in America. You either stand for something or you'll fall for anything. Sarah walks the walk and talks the talk. She is Ronald Reagan in a skirt. That's why the liberals fear her common sense conservatism.

Plus, she's really, really hot.
